Religion is an integral and essential part of life. It is almost impossible to imagine life without religion. Life without religion would be like sugarcane without juice or milk without cream. Similarly, the feeling of nationalism is also an integral and essential feeling for the citizens of any country. Without the feeling of nationalism, people’s dedication towards the country will be negligible.

Real meaning of religion and nationalism

Religion means the right way of living, a way of living that makes your conscience feel a sense of satisfaction and joy. Religion determines the life values by following which a person can live his/her life in a better way.The life based on religious principles provides a balance not only to oneself but also to the entire existence in which lies the possibility of individual welfare as well as world welfare.
Like religion, nationalism is also an essential feeling of life. The name of a person’s religion towards the country is nationalism, it can be understood as the feeling of patriotism. Nationalism inspires a person to be loyal to the country and to be dutiful for the welfare of the nation.

Right to interpret religion and nationalism

Religion and nationalism both are very sensitive and delicate subjects. The slightest misinterpretation of these can lead to very negative and disastrous consequences. The amount of violence (bloodshed), war and destruction that has taken place in the world in the name of these two ideas/emotions would hardly have been done in the name of any other idea or emotion. The riots in the name of religion, the two world wars in the name of nationalism and the conflicts in many countries of the world are examples of this.
In such a situation, it becomes very important that their interpretation (religion-nationalism) should be in the hands of sensible and intelligent people, otherwise people full of selfishness and stupidity will prove madness as scientific temper and you will have doubts about scientists.
How dangerous and unfortunate it becomes that low level illiterate leaders who consider power as their God and the purpose of their life, give knowledge on nationalism to the entire country. The so-called saints who accumulate wealth and property, indulge in immoral activities, live a life full of pretense and hypocrisy and have been convicted by the courts of the country, boast of being the interpreters of ‘Sanatan Dharma’.

What is the correct explanation?

Where such a system is created, the illiterate and idiots will be respected and the educated and intelligent people will be despised. Where stupidity is glorified and jokes are made against intelligence, you cannot expect correct explanation of anything. In such an environment, logic and science will never be born, rather such an environment creates fertile ground for hypocrisy and superstition.
India’s concept of both nationalism and religion has been the best and ideal in the world because of its comprehensive thinking and spirit of world welfare. When you are given narrow knowledge by tying it within a limited scope, then you should be alert that either the person giving the knowledge is ignorant and does not love the country and religion or he has some selfish interest which he wants to fulfill. How can a person who presents his concept different from the concept of Indian nation-religion be nationalist and religious? Rather, that person became the enemy of our great nationalism and religion.

Journey from greatness to decline

There is no doubt that Indian religion, culture and nationalism was the best in the world and was an ideal for everyone, that is why we were sometimes called and considered as ‘Vishwaguru’. But look at the history of the last one thousand years and find out what has happened to our knowledge, science and technology. What has been our contribution in the world’s 100 best inventions and discoveries?
After all, what is the reason that we fell into this predicament from the position of world leader? Whoever attacked India won and we became slaves. Why after all?
Because we ignored logic, science and technology. We don’t have time to think about our present situation,we just talk about our ancient glory. Our situation is such that someone’s grandfather has done Ph.D. on some esoteric subjects and has written research papers and his grandson remains illiterate, then that grandson takes those research papers and says that my father was very great. Whatever that poor guy does, he doesn’t know how to read, he just keeps repeating that his grandfather was very great. Life doesn’t work like this, one has to make best efforts every moment.
Today the condition of the country is such that if you tell them the glory of the past, they will be very happy, talk about even a little reality or today and a lot of trouble starts. This country of scientists like sages and god like incarnations is ready to take the knowledge of religion from rapists and murderers. Ready to see the future of the country in illiterate, corrupt and false leaders.

What then is the way to fly high

My intention is not to degrade anything by criticizing it, rather I want the youth of the country to think for themselves what were the things that made this country a world leader and a golden bird? After knowing those things, do not repeat them but implement them in your life and implementing them in your life is true Sanatan Dharma adherence and ideal nationalism.
The tendency to be frivolous in thinking and show off in action is not a great virtue. Religion and nationalism both are internal and deep things of life. The youth of the country should at least take a pledge that they will study and discover for themselves the greatest sources of our country and religion. If the ownership or inheritance of the country and religion remains in the hands of some people or groups, then they will definitely be arbitrary to fulfill their selfish interests.Light people without serious study will play the band of country and nationalism
The people of the country must think about how the moral consciousness of the country has deteriorated so much today that we bow before the convicted sadhus and we choose people surrounded by serious and heinous allegations as our leaders. Such lowly people have made religion and nationalism their shield, the identification of which is essential.

धर्म औऱ राष्ट्रवाद की असल व्याख्या

धर्म जीवन का अभिन्न और अनिवार्य अंग है| बिना धर्म के जीवन की कल्पना लगभग असंभव है| बिना धर्म के जीवन ऐसा होगा जैसे बिना रस के गन्ना या बिना क्रीम के दूध| इसी प्रकार राष्ट्रवाद की भावना भी किसी देश के नागरिकों के लिए अभिन्न और अनिवार्य भाव है| बिना राष्ट्रवाद की भावना के लोगों का देश के प्रति समर्पण नही के बराबर होगा|

धर्म और राष्ट्रवाद का वास्तविक अर्थ

धर्म का अर्थ है जीवन जीने का सही ढंग, जीवन जीने का ऐसा तरीका जो आपके अंतःकरण को एक संतुष्टि और आनंद का भाव महसूस करवाता है| धर्म जीवन-मूल्यों का निर्धारण करता है जिनपर चलकर एक इंसान अपने जीवन को बेहतर ढंग से जी सकता है| धर्म पालन न केवल स्वयं को बल्कि पूरे अस्तित्व को एक संतुलन प्रदान करता है जिसमें व्यक्ति के कल्याण से लेकर विश्वकल्याण की संभावना निहित होती है|
धर्म की तरह राष्ट्रवाद भी जीवन का एक अनिवार्य भाव है| देश के प्रति इंसान के धर्म का नाम राष्ट्रवाद है,इसे देश प्रेम की भावना के तौर पर समझा जा सकता है|राष्ट्रवाद व्यक्ति को देश के प्रति वफादार होने और राष्ट्र-कल्याण के लिए कर्तव्यपरायणता की प्रेरणा देता है|

धर्म और राष्ट्रवाद की व्याख्या का अधिकार

धर्म औऱ राष्ट्रवाद दोनों ही बेहद संवेदनशील और नाजुक विषय है| इनकी जरा सी टेड़ी-मेड़ी व्याख्या बहुत नकारात्मक और विनाशकारी परिणाम ला सकती हैं| दुनिया में जितनी हिंसा(रक्तपात),युद्ध और विनाश इन दो विचारों/भावों के नाम पर हुआ है शायद ही अन्य किसी विचार या भाव पर हुआ होगा| धर्म के नाम पर होने वाले दंगे औऱ राष्ट्रवाद के नाम पर हुए दो विश्वयुद्ध और दुनिया के अनेकों देशों का संघर्ष इसका उदाहरण है|
ऐसे में ये बहुत जरूरी हो जाता है कि इनकी(धर्म-राष्ट्रवाद) व्याख्या समझदार औऱ बुद्धिमान लोगों के हाथ में रहें अन्यथा स्वार्थ और मूर्खता से भरे लोग आपके सामने मदारी को वैज्ञानिक सिद्ध कर देंगे औऱ वैज्ञानिकों के लिए आपके मन में संदेह पैदा कर देंगे|
ये कितना खतरनाक और दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण हो जाता है कि सत्त्ता को अपना भगवान और अपने जीवन का उद्देश्य मानने वाले स्तरहीन अनपढ़ नेता पूरे देश को राष्ट्रवाद पर ज्ञान देते है| दौलत और संपत्ति का अंबार लगाने वाले,अनैतिक कार्यों में लिप्त,ढोंग-पाखंड से भरा जीवन जीने वाले और देश की अदालतों से सजायाफ्ता तथाकथित साधु लोग सनातन के व्याख्याकार होने का दम्भ भर लेते है

क्या है सही व्याख्या?

जहाँ ऐसी व्यवस्था बन जाएं वहाँ अनपढ़-बेवकूफ को सम्मान मिले और पढ़े-लिखे समझदारों को तिरिस्कृत किया जायें| जहाँ मूर्खता का महिमामंडन हो अक्ल के खिलाफ लतीफ़े गढ़े जाएं वहाँ आप किसी चीज की सही व्याख्या की उम्मीद नही कर सकते| ऐसे माहौल में तर्क और विज्ञान का कभी जन्म नही हो सकेगा बल्कि ऐसा माहौल ढोंग-पाखंड और अंधविश्वास की उर्वर जमीन तैयार करता है|
भारत की राष्ट्रवाद और धर्म दोनों की ही अवधारणा दुनिया में सर्वश्रेष्ठ औऱ आदर्श रही है उसका कारण इसकी व्यापक सोच और विश्वकल्याण की भावना है| जब आपको एक सीमित दायरे में बांधकर संकीर्ण हो जाने का ज्ञान दिया जाता है तो आपको सतर्क हो जाना चाहिए कि या तो वो ज्ञान देने वाला अज्ञानी है और उसे देश-धर्म से प्यार नही है या फिर उसका कोई स्वार्थ होगा जिसे वो पूरा करना चाहता है| भारतीय देश-धर्म की अवधारणा से अलग अपनी अवधारणा पेश करने वाला व्यक्ति कैसे राष्ट्रवादी और धर्मपरायण हो सकता है? बल्कि वो व्यक्ति तो दुश्मन हुआ हमारे विराट राष्ट्रवाद और धर्म का|

महानता से गिरावट का सफर

इसमें कोई शक नही की भारतीय धर्म-संस्कृति औऱ राष्ट्रवाद दुनिया में सर्वश्रेष्ठ रहा और सबके लिए आदर्श रहा, इसी कारण कभी हमें विश्वगुरु कहा और माना गया| किन्तु पिछले एक हजार साल का इतिहास उठाकर देखो और पता करो हमारी ज्ञान-विज्ञान और तकनीक में क्या दुर्दशा हुई है| दुनिया के 100 श्रेष्ठतम अविष्कारों और खोजों में हमारा क्या योगदान रहा है?
आखिर क्या कारण है कि हम विश्वगुरु के पद से इस दुर्दशा में पड़ गए| हिंदुस्तान पर जिसने भी आक्रमण किया,वो जीता और हम गुलाम होते चले गए| आखिर क्यों?
क्योकि हमनें तर्क-विज्ञान और तकनीक की अनदेखी की| हमें प्राचीन गौरव का बखान करने से ही फुरसत नही है| हमारी हालात ऐसी है जैसे किसी के बाबा ने किन्हीं गूढ़तम विषयों Ph.D.की हो और शोधपत्र लिखें हो और उसका पोता अनपढ़ रह जाएं,फिर वो पोता उन शोध-पत्रों को लेकर कहता फिरे कि मेरा बाबा बड़ा महान था| वो बेचारा करें भी क्या पढना उसे आता नहीं, बस वो ये ही दोहराये जाएं कि उसका बाबा बड़ा महान था| जीवन ऐसे नही चलता,उसके लिए हर पल सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रयास करने होते है|
आज देश की हालत ये है कि इन्हें भूतकाल का गौरव सुनाए जाओ बहुत खुश होंगे, जरा सी हकीकत की या आज की चर्चा कर लो बहुत तकलीफ़ शुरू हो जाती है| वैज्ञानिक जैसे ऋषि-मुनि और भगवान जैसे अवतारों का ये देश बलात्कारी-हत्यारों से तो धर्म का ज्ञान लेने को राजी है| अनपढ़,भ्रष्ट और झूठे नेताओ में देश का भविष्य देखने को राजी है|

क्या है फिर ऊंची उड़ान का रास्ता

मेरा मकसद किसी भी बात की आलोचना करके नीचा दिखाना नही है बल्कि मै तो ये चाहता हूं कि देश का युवा वर्ग स्वयं इस बात पर विचार करें कि वे क्या बातें थी जिन्होंने इस देश को विश्वगुरु और सोने की चिड़िया बनाया? उन बातों को जानकर दोहराना नही बल्कि अपने जीवन में उतारना है और ये जीवन मे उतारना ही सच्चा सनातन धर्म पालन और आदर्श राष्ट्रवाद है|
सोच में टुच्चई और कर्म में दिखावे की प्रवृति कोई बहुत बड़ा गुण नही है| धर्म और राष्ट्रवाद दोनों ही जीवन की अंदरुनी और गहरी बातें है| देश का युवा कम से कम ये संकल्प ले कि वो अध्ययन करेगा और हमारे देश-धर्म के महानतम सूत्रों को वो स्वयं खोजेगा| देश-धर्म की ठेकेदारी या बपौती कुछ लोगों या समूह के हाथों में रहेगी तो वो निश्चित तौर पर अपने स्वार्थ को पूरी करने वाली मनमानी व्याख्याएं प्रस्तुत करेंगे ही| बिना गंभीर अध्ययन के हल्के लोग देश और राष्ट्रवाद का बैंड बजा देंगे
देश के जनमानस को इस बात पर अवश्य विचार करना चाहिए कि आज देश की नैतिक चेतना का इतना पतन कैसे हो गया कि हम सजायाफ्ता साधुओं के आगे दंडवत है और संगीन-घिनौने आरोपों से घिरे लोगों को हम अपना नेता चुन लेते है| इस तरह के घटिया लोगों ने धर्म औराष्ट्रवाद को अपना कवच बनाया हुआ है जिसकी पहचान अत्यावश्यक है|
