The T20 Cricket World Cup-2024 is being jointly hosted by West Indies and America. In the match between Pakistan and America being played in Dallas yesterday, America created a stir in the cricket world by defeating Pakistan.
The special thing about this match was that Pakistan got two opportunities to save its reputation but missed both the opportunities and suffered a crushing defeat in this match.

T-20 क्रिकेट वर्ल्ड कप-2024 के अयोजन की संयुक्त मेजबानी वेस्टइंडीज और अमेरिका द्वारा की जा रही है| कल डलास में खेले जा रहें पाकिस्तान औऱ अमेरिका के मैच में अमेरिका ने पाकिस्तान को हराकर क्रिकेट जगत में तहलका मचा दिया| इस मैच की खास बात ये रही कि पाकिस्तान को अपनी साख बचाने के दो अवसर मिले किन्तु वे दोनों अवसरों को चूक गया और उसे इस मुकाबले में करारी हार मिली|

डलास के ग्रैंड प्रेरिज ग्राउंड में खेले गए इस क्रिकेट मुकाबले में टॉस अमेरिका के कप्तान मोनांक पटेल ने जीता औऱ पाकिस्तान को पहले बल्लेबाजी के लिए आमंत्रित किया| पाकिस्तान की शुरुआत खराब रही और उसने मुहम्मद रिजवान का विकेट दूसरे ओवर में ही 9 रन के स्कोर पर खो दिया|
निर्धारित 20 ओवर में पाकिस्तान ने 7 विकेट के नुकसान पर 158 रन बनाए और अमेरिका को 159 रन का लक्ष्य दिया| पाकिस्तान के 158 रनों में बाबर आजम ने 44 ,शादाब खान ने 40 और शाहीन खान ने 23 रनों का योगदान दिया| अमेरिका की तरफ से नोस्तुश केंजीगे ने 3 और सौरभ नेत्रावलकर ने 2 विकेट लिए|
159 के लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरी अमेरिका की टीम ने एक बहुत सधी हुई शुरुआत की और बहुत आत्मविश्वास से आगे बढ़ते हुए बिना किसी हड़बड़ाहट के टीम को जीत के मुहाने पर पहुँचा दिया| पाकिस्तान की जबरदस्त तेज गेंदबाजी के सामने उन्होंने निर्धारित 20 ओवर में मोनांक पटेल के 50 रन ,एंड्रिस गूज के 35 औऱ ए. जोन्स के 36 रनों के की बदौलत तीन विकेट पर 158 रन बनाकर मैच को टाई करवा लिया| इस तरह का प्रदर्शन पाकिस्तान के लिए हार के समान ही था किन्तु किस्मत ने उन्हें एक मौका और दिया जिसे वे सुपर ओवर में भुना सकते थे|

सुपर ओवर का रोमांच

अमेरिका के दमदार प्रदर्शन से हतप्रभ पाकिस्तान ने सुपर ओवर में पहले गेंदबाजी की| पाकिस्तान की तरफ से सुपर ओवर मुहम्मद आमिर के द्वारा किया गया जिसमें उन्होंने 7 रन अतिरिक्त देते हुए कुल 18 रन खर्च कर दिए जिससे पाकिस्तान को 19 रन का लक्ष्य मिला | अमेरिका की ओर से एंड्रिस गूज ने 11 रन बनाए|
पाकिस्तान जैसी टीम के लिए अमेरिका जैसी गेंदबाजी के सामने 19 रन कोई ज्यादा भी नही थे किंतु आश्चर्यजनक रूप से पाकिस्तान सुपर ओवर में एक विकेट खोकर केवल 13 रन ही बना पाया औऱ मैच को 5 रनों से हार गया| अमेरिका की ओर से सुपर ओवर सौरभ नेत्रावलकर द्वारा किया गया|

अमेरिका की जीत के मायने

अमेरिका द्वारा पाकिस्तान को मैच में हराना महज इत्तेफाक नही है क्योंकि अमेरिका ने पाकिस्तान को एक ही मैच में करीब करीब दो बार हरा दिया और अमेरिका की ये जीत बहुत विश्वसनीय और आसान थी|
पाकिस्तान टीम जैसी मजबूत तेज गेंदबाजी के सामने 159 के लक्ष्य तक मात्र 3 विकेट के नुकसान पर पहुँच जाना एक बड़ी सफलता है उंसके बाद सुपर ओवर के तनाव और रोमांच में अपने आप को संयमित रखना अक्सर नई टीमों के लिए आसान नही होता किन्तु अमेरिका ने खेल के हर क्षेत्र में पाकिस्तान से बेहतर प्रदर्शन कर अपनी जबरदस्त दस्तक के संकेत दे दिए हैं|

ये पहला अवसर है जब अमेरिका में क्रिकेट का कोई बड़ा अंतरराष्ट्रीय टूर्नामेंट खेला जा रहा है| अमेरिका के लिए ये सबसे बड़ी बात है कि स्वयं अमेरिका भी इस टूर्नामेंट का हिस्सा है| अमेरिका की टीम क्रिकेट जगत में एक नई टीम है जिसे 2019 में ही ICC से मान्यता मिली है और उसने अभी करीब दर्जनभर ही T-20 मैच खेले है| ऐसे में एक ऐसी नई टीम द्वारा करीब ढाई सौ मैच खेल चुकी और वर्ल्ड चैंपियन रही टीम को हराना बहुत बड़ी बात है|
मौजदा विश्वकप में अमेरिका की ये दूसरी जीत है ऐसे में उम्मीद है कि ये टीम सुपर-8 दौर में जगह बना सकती है जहां उसका अन्य मजबूत टीमों के साथ मुकाबला होगा| अमेरिका द्वारा पाकिस्तान टीम को हराने के बाद अब उसके प्रदर्शन पर सभी की निगाहें रहेंगी|
